Join Beth Sturdevant as she leads women on a once-in-a-lifetime weekend of adventure this summer.

You are invited to go on a unique and fun 3-night, 4-day camping and hiking adventure with Beth in the Adirondack Mountains, Upstate NY.

August 16 – 19, 2024

TRIP DETAILS

FRIDAY

The adventure begins Friday morning as we drive to the Adirondacks (Upstate NY) together, and arrive late afternoon at the Wilderness Campground, Heart Lake (Adirondacks, NY), where we set up camp, enjoy a delicious fireside cookout (prepared by Beth and Kelley), roast marshmallows, and end the evening with a calming meditation to prepare for a restful night’s sleep amongst the trees and the stars.

SATURDAY

Saturday morning, we start our day bright and early for the hike ahead, followed by a light but nourishing breakfast fueling us for our exciting and beautiful full-day hike up Mt Marcy, Algonquin Mt, Wright Mt, or Phelps Mt; New York State’s highest peaks.

Lunch and snacks will be enjoyed along the trail and at the summit, where we take in one of the most breathtaking and inspiring views of the Adirondack Mountain range.

The evening will end with a refreshing dip in Heart Lake, relaxing by the campfire, and a delicious campsite dinner, ending the day with a relaxing fireside guided meditation, before drifting off to sleep at the end of an adventure and fun-filled day.

SUNDAY

Sunday morning, we enjoy a leisurely morning with a campfire breakfast, dip in Heart Lake, and prepare for our days outing to visit one of the most beautiful natural swimming waterfalls (a hidden gem that few people know of), in Upstate New York.
On the way to the waterfall, we will stop in the lovely high peaks mountain town of Keene, to visit the local shops, grab a treat, coffee or tea, and look around. We then will take our a packed lunches and spend the afternoon swimming and lounging by the waterfall.

Following our day of sightseeing and waterfall swimming, we will enjoy a delicious dinner at Baxter Mountain Tavern.

After which, we will adjourn back to our campsite for a bedtime campfire and gentle meditation.
**Baxter Mountain Tavern dinner & drinks, is included in Adventure fee.

MONDAY

Our final morning on Monday, we begin our day bright and early before the sun is up, as we embark on a short but invigorating 1 hour hike up Mt Jo; one of the best views of the High Peaks region at only 2,876 feet. Once at the summit, we get to take in the morning rising sun coming up over the mountain tops that surround us.

Upon arriving back at the campground from the sunrise hike, we will enjoy a delicious campfire brunch, as we pack up the campsite and prepare for our drive back to Ottawa. On our way back, we will stop in the town of Lake Placid to walk around, visit the local shops, and stretch our legs before heading home.

What an amazing way to spend the weekend! I will forever cherish the memories I made and the inspiring women I met along the way. Nature, connection, and adventure, all things I love and crave! I am extremely grateful for the experience, and can’t wait to see what the next adventure brings!!

Beth Sturdevant grew up camping and hiking in the Adirondack Mountains and is thrilled to be sharing this magnificent place and experience with others.

She is Emergency First Aid and CPR certified and has a valid police check. Beth is a Healer, Reiki Master, Energy Medicine Worker, adventure enthusiast, and meditation facilitator….among other things.

She has extensive experience working as a wellness practitioner, educator, and workshop facilitator.
